Voli Fuarcılık A.Ş. The 7th International Istanbul Hardware Fair, organized under the leadership of Project Coordinator Zülküf Karadayı, took place at the Istanbul Expo Center between 24-27 August 2023 with the principle of ‘Growing Together’. While this important event was recorded as a turning point in the Turkish hardware industry, it once again proved the power of the sector.

The fair reached a record number of participants and guests by hosting 23,525 visitors and international investors from 94 countries. It strengthened its international business connections by offering a wide platform to visitors from Turkey and all over the world.

Istanbul Hardware Fair focused on sharing sectoral information as well as exhibiting sector-specific products and services. The latest trends and developments in the industry were discussed through various seminars, panels and interactive sessions.

This successful event was organized by Voli Fuarcılık A.Ş., led by Zülküf Karadayı. More than just a trading platform for its team, it also symbolizes the strong ties in the industry and the determination to move forward together. This fair was considered as a concrete example of cooperation and solidarity for hardware industry professionals who came together around the principle of ‘Growing Together’.

International Istanbul Hardware Fair has become a commercial platform as the only event specialized in hardware and tools in Turkey. The fair, with a total of 257 participants, hosted 23,525 visitors from home and abroad, becoming an important meeting point in the industry.

The desire of hardware manufacturers operating in Turkey to increase their quality, become a brand, and open up to new markets and Voli Fair’s success in specific fairs were a major factor in the industry’s embrace of the fair. The fair offered industry professionals the opportunity to discover innovations, evaluate cooperation opportunities and follow developments in the sector.

Karbosan, Turkey’s leading abrasive brand, supported the Istanbul Hardware Fair as a platinum sponsor, while Wow Istanbul Hotels and Conventions Center supported the event as the accommodation sponsor and Nalbur Technical Magazine as the main press sponsor. These strong sponsorships enabled the fair to become even stronger with the participation and support of leaders in the industry. The fair continues to create a positive impact among the business world and industry stakeholders.

On the opening day, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank visited the fair with Project Director Zülküf Karadayı. On the opening day, Varank visited the participating stands and held meetings with the companies’ senior management. On the last day of the fair, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Chairman Şekip Avdagiç and Istanbul World Trade Center General Manager Haluk Kanca visited the fair together with Karadayı, visited the participants and made sector evaluations.

A total of 20 thousand items were exhibited at the fair. From electrical and mechanical hand tools and accessories to welding machines and electrodes, D.I.Y. (do-it-yourself) products, sanders, nailers and abrasives; A wide range of products were offered, from laser tools and occupational safety equipment to insulation, insulation and sealing materials, painter and lock accessories. The participants provided unforgettable experiences for the visitors with their educational presentations, entertaining stand shows and live performances.

Delegations from GSP-2 and Gastroprom, two subsidiaries of Gazprom, the world’s largest natural gas supplier and Russia’s leading company, visited the 6th International Istanbul Hardware Fair on the 3rd and 4th days. The total purchase of hardware and tools by these companies is estimated at over 5 billion rubles worldwide. Accompanied by the Project Director of the Fair, Zülküf Karadayı, following the briefing presented by Yusuf Okçu, International Sales and Marketing Manager of the International Istanbul Hardware Fair, the delegation visited all the companies in the product range that they decided to supply.

Company officials from Russia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Moldova, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iraq, Yemen, Egypt, Macedonia, Serbia and Morocco visited the stands and held purchasing negotiations with Turkish manufacturers from the first day of the fair. and signed multi-million dollar deals.

The fair exceeded the expectations of exhibitors and visitors

Participants stated that the fair kept its promises in 2022 and that the fair more than met their expectations in line with its objectives such as strengthening the company image, introducing new products/services, gaining customers from the national and international markets, strengthening existing business connections and establishing new business connections. Participants stated that they will attend the fair in 2023 and will demand larger square meters.

In its 7th year, the International Istanbul Hardware Fair will host 23,525 visitors from 94 countries at the Istanbul Expo Center between 24-27 August 2023.
